What is Preeti?

Preeti is a legacy Nepali font from the early 1990s that maps Devanagari glyphs onto ordinary keyboard keys. It predates Unicode support and still shows up in old documents, government forms, and news archives — readable only if the Preeti font is installed, and garbled everywhere else. This tool converts it to standard Unicode Devanagari, which displays correctly on any device without a special font.
